TOM WEBSTERSenior Minister Tom Webster lives with his wife of 39 years, Christy, their dog Goldie and Ivan their cat. Christy and Tom have three grown married children and three grandsons. Their oldest son Andrew and his wife Jennifer live in Belton, Missouri with their son Xavier. Their daughter Jennifer and her husband David live in Homeland, California with their two sons Daniel and Simon. Their youngest son Matt and his wife Jennifer live in Fort Collins, Colorado. Tom enjoys golf, reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. Tom was born in Des Moines, Iowa and worked as a carpenter before following his call into ministry. He graduated from Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon, and then from Phillips Graduate Seminary in Enid, Oklahoma. He has served churches in Oregon, Oklahoma, Iowa, South Dakota, Kentucky, and Colorado. Tom has been a pastor for over 28 years. He is passionate about leading, coaching and inspiring people to connect with God and live fruitful and productive lives. He wants to help people become more actively involved in a deeper relationship with God by encouraging spiritual maturity, and equipping them for ministry. He is skilled at coaching individuals and congregations to overcome obstacles that prevent them from fulfilling dreams and discovering God's potential. He is a Certified Christ-Centered Life Coach and Seminar Director for Prepare/Enrich. TRISTAN OROZCOAssociate Minister Tristan has called six states (CA, TX, AZ, IL, FL, and IA) and four time zones home. This has left him blessed with a perfectly non-regional dialect, well-positioned to run for national office, and saddled with comically nonsensical sports allegiances. He is a proud alum of Santa Monica College, Arizona State University, and the University of Chicago Divinity School, and a mildly amused dropout of a PhD program at Florida State University. As if his geographical flexibility wasn't enough to wreak havoc on his sense of identity, he was baptized into the Roman Catholic Church, went to bible study at First Baptist (Euless, TX), served in Presbyterian churches in Tempe, AZ and Chicago, a Disciples of Christ church in Villa Park, IL that saw fit to ordain him, and a UCC church in Des Moines--all before settling in at Wakonda. Adding to the confusion, he is variously proficient in English, Spanish, French, Greek, and Persian. He is a former sailor, flag football captain, coffee shop manager, an avid reader, a less active blogger, and probably finds your story more interesting than his. LARRY CONNOrganist Larry was born in Pleasantville, Iowa where he still lives and is a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Drake University and Northern Colorado University. He was an instrumental music director for fifteen years, worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Des Moines for ten years as a personnel administrator and has been director of the Webb Shadle Library in Pleasantville for over twenty years. Larry has been at Wakonda since 1969. For twenty years he was also Director of Music at Wakonda (part time).
